Rice (Yuenhuen) Yuen is a Baltimore-based illustrator and maker currently studying Illustration Practice at MICA. Her practice moves between drawing and handcraft, often taking the form of illustrations and handmade toys and dolls.
Her recent work focuses on the emotional relationship between people and the objects they cherish. She is interested in how these objects of attachment carry memory, comfort, and a sense of personal identity.
